Police have warned motorists to expect congestion after an electrical fire closed a main road in Dundee.
A section of East Dock Street, between Market Street and Broughty Ferry Road is closed eastbound due to an electrical fire.
The roads are cordoned off and SEE is investigating.
A spokesman for the fire service said that an appliance had been sent to the scene at 10.42am.
A police statement said: “We’ll try and keep you updated as best we can – this may be for some time, and the exact section of the road which is closed may change.
“Please try and avoid the area if you can, and expect heavier traffic on Broughty Ferry Road due to local diversions.”
