Police officers were searching grassland in the city’s North East today following reports of a man acting suspiciously in the area.
Three police vehicles, including a dog unit, were dispatched to the area surrounding the former St Saviour’s RC High School in Whitfield at around 5am.
Officers parked their vehicles at strategic points in Drumgeith Road, Forties Road and Whitfield Drive in order to form a search perimeter.
However, nothing was found as a result of the investigation and the search was called off.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We received a call regarding a report of a male acting suspiciously. Following a search, there were no sign of any males.”
