Congestion on Kingsway after car loses its wheel

Motorists are facing congestion on one of Dundee’s busiest roads after a car lost its wheel.

Police are currently directing traffic on the A90 (west) Kingsway prior to the Myrekirk Roundabout.

A broken down Range Rover is causing congestion after the vehicle lost its wheel.

Lane two on the road is blocked as a result.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers are currently on the scene after receiving a report at around 11.45am.

“A broken down Range Rover lost its wheel just before the Myrekirk Roundabout.

“Officers are currently assisting with traffic flow and are awaiting the attendance of RAC.”
