Dundee Foodbank staff are teaming up with Dundee Stars at Sunday’s match against Fife Flyers.

Foodbank manager Ken Linton said the organisation was “delighted” when approached by Dundee Stars to come to the game to collect donations, after similar collections at Tannadice and Dens Park.

Ken said: “The collections will be for non-perishable goods, such as UHT milk and tinned items.

“This is the first time we have teamed up with the Dundee Stars. We were delighted to be invited to what is going to be their busiest game of the season, and be able to pass on these donations to people who are struggling.”

Collection boxes for cash donations will also be available at the game, which starts at 5pm.
