Roads have been sealed off after a woman was hit by bus on a local street.
A pedestrian, thought to be in her 80s, was struck by a vehicle outside the Bothy restaurant, close to the junction of Mill Street and Kinnoull Street.
Police have closed surrounding roads as they investigate the incident.
A police statement said: “Police Scotland are currently attending a road traffic collision in Kinnoull Street, Perth, which happened just before 12.30pm.
“A female pedestrian was involved in a collision with a bus. Ambulance personnel are at the scene and the pedestrian is receiving treatment.”
A spokesperson for Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 12.24 hours today to attend an incident on Kinnoull St in Perth.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.”
The situation is described as ongoing. There was no confirmation on the condition of the pedestrian.
