There are to be changes to bus services travelling through Dryburgh and Lochee.
Stagecoach service 57/59 which operates between Dundee and Blairgowrie/Coupar Angus is changing on November 20.
Mark Flynn, depute convener of Dundee City Council’s city development committee, said: “It means the frequency is increasing to a bus every half-hour between the city centre, Lochee, Dryburgh and Birkhill.
“In addition the company has also agreed to use Lochee High Street/Bank Street on both inward and outward journeys which will offer more connections for the area’s shops and businesses.”
Meantime, Stagecoach services to East Perthshire will divert via Kings Cross Road and Dunsinane Avenue before re-joining Coupar Angus Road.
Xplore Dundee number four will serve Linton Road from the north end but the company will not be running the Outer Circle to Dryburgh in the evenings and Sundays.
