Police have today released CCTV images of a man they wish to trace following an attack in Dundee over six months ago.
A 26-year-old man was left needing hospital treatment for a fractured elbow following the assault in the Cowgate on Saturday December 5 at about 11.30pm.
The crime remains unsolved and Police Scotland have only today released images of a man they wish to trace in connection with the incident.
He is described as being about 18-years-old, 5ft 8in, of slim build. At the time of the incident, he wearing a long-sleeved grey top and had had mid-length light brown hair with the fringe brushed to the right.
The man is believed to have come from the direction of The Town House on King Street in the company of two other men.
Police Scotland said the images have been released as part of an ‘on-going investigation’.
Detective Sergeant Mike Ness added: “The male in these images was seen in the area at the time of the assault, I would ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as they may have information to assist with our inquiries”
“In addition, anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who has information regarding the assault is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any Police Officer. Information can also be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
