An organisation which helps families in need has been given a bursary boost.
Dundee Starter Packs help individuals and families living in emotional and financial poverty by providing basic household goods and bedding.
The group has been awarded £500 by property management company Ross and Liddell.
Dundee Starter Packs administrator Fiona Petrie said: “Anyone can fall on hard times at any point in their life. We’re here to help people who have been homeless or who are settling into a tenancy again after a difficult time.
“Finding a home is a very difficult process in itself, and some families just don’t have the resources to spend on what they need to actually live comfortably.
“We help with everything from toiletries, cleaning products, duvets and pillows to cutlery, crockery and curtains – items which help to turn a house into a home.
“The funding will help us cover the cost of the items we buy new, like duvets and pillows, toiletries and cleaning products.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to Ross and Liddell for its support. It will help to support hundreds of families.”
Irene Devenny, managing director of Ross and Liddell, said: “Starter Packs provides a vital service for families living with financial difficulties and is a fantastic source of support for so many people.
“It’s so important that organisations like this have access to funding sources.”
