A man has been taken to Ninewells hospital after a crash in Dundee city centre.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the junction of Blinshall Street and Miln Street at about 11.30am this morning following a report of a collision between a van and a car.
Police said the car – a silver Toyota Corolla – was on its roof and a man has been taken to hospital, although it is not yet known which vehicle he was in.
The man is believed to have suffered a back injury, but it is not thought to be serious.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called to a two vehicle road traffic collision at about 11.30am at the junction of Blinshall Street and Miln Street.
“The car was on its roof. The fire service and ambulance service were called to attend and one man has a back injury.
“The collision involved a car and a van.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said crews from Blackness Road attended and cut a casualty from one of the vehicles.
She said: “We were called at 11.40am. Two appliances from Blackness attended and stabilised a vehicle and used cutting gear as one person was trapped in a vehicle.”
