Fire crews were called out to a Dundee street today after a car crashed into a block of flats.
Emergency services were called to Eliza Street, off Albert Street in Stobswell, just after 11am.
A white car crashed into a building on the section of the street which is a dead end.
One male was helped from the vehicle by firefighters who then made the scene safe.
The casualty was then handed into the care of awaiting paramedics.
He was checked over at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
Mustapha Apubala, owner of Marrakech Cafe across the street saw the aftermath.
He said: “I didn’t see the accident actually happen but I saw the white car was in to the wall and then saw emergency services arriving.
“The police came first then the fire engine and then the ambulance, they all came very quickly.
“It looked like an elderly gentleman probably over 70, he walked out of the car and didn’t look like he had any severe injuries.
“I think he must of been trying to turn his car but I’m not sure.”
