A stretch of a busy Dundee road has closed for two weeks.
Charleston Drive, from Spey Drive to Lochay Place, closed yesterday for carriageway resurfacing works.
This project is phase two in the city council’s maintenance programme, with phase one carried out over the weekend.
A Dundee City Council spokesperson said: “We are carrying out essential carriageway maintenance over a phased period to minimalize disruption.”
Other roadworks taking place include temporary traffic lights for two weeks at Gourdie Brae/Liff Road for SSE Telecoms duct laying.
Pitkerro Road from Madeira Street to Dalkeith Road will also have temporary traffic lights as well as rolling street closures for three weeks for mains renewal.
Mederia Street will be closed for one week.
Buttars Road will have temporary traffic lights in place for up to one week for footway works.
