Broughty Ferry has been shortlisted for Hidden Scotland’s Most Beautiful Towns or Villages competition.
The contest aims to find the most charming or picturesque place in the country.
Broughty Ferry will now compete alongside 35 other finalists.
Finalists were chosen by Hidden Scotland followers who put forward suggestions using Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
The nominee that receives the most votes on Hidden Scotland’s website will be crowned as winner on August 10 on Hidden Scotland’s Instagram.
Founder of Hidden Scotland, Jack Cairney, said: “I am excited to start our search for Scotland’s Most Beautiful Town or Village. Our audience have picked some of the most charming and picturesque places you can visit in Scotland and it is a delight to be able to showcase some of these places.”
Other places in the running include Millport, Oban, Melrose and Kelso.
