Police seal off part of Dundee park after sex attack

A major investigation has been launched after a sex attack in a popular Dundee park.

Police were alerted to an incident at Baxter Park late on Thursday night.

Full details have yet to be disclosed by Police Scotland but a spokesman confirmed they are investigating a report of a sexual assault.

The main gates of the park at Arbroath Road have been sealed off by officers with a further cordon set up on the grass area in front of the pavilion.

At one point the entire park was closed off to the public, however the cordon has been scaled back.
