Two boys have been charged by police after a 17-year-old man was found lying in a Dundee street.
Police sealed off Adelaide Place, in the Law area, on Saturday after the youngster was discovered by a passing taxi driver.
He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, where he was treated for “serious injuries” where he remains in a coma.
Today, police have confirmed two youths, both aged 15, have been charged with assault.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that two 15-year-old male youths have been charged with assault, in connection with the incident where a man was found in Adelaide Place, Dundee, with head injuries on December 23.
“A report on the circumstances is being sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
