
A boy has been arrested after a man was allegedly attacked and robbed in Dundee.
The incident is said to have taken place between 7pm and 8pm yesterday on a footpath between Forth Crescent and South Road.
Police say a 46-year-old man was approached and assaulted by two males and allegedly had his wallet and mobile phone stolen.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested by officers in connection with the incident and subsequently released pending further inquiry.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers would like to trace two males in connection with the incident.
“The first is described as about 5ft 8in and medium build, wearing a light-coloured hooded top and carrying a black rucksack.
“The second is described as also about 5ft 8in, thin build, and wearing all dark clothing.
“At the time of the incident, the complainer was wearing a blue baseball cap and a black jacket.
“If anyone has information which could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Also, information can be passed anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/23428/18.”
