A boy was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted in a Dundee street.
Police say they are “following positive lines of inquiry” in regards to the attack in Spey Drive in the Menzieshill area around 5.45pm on Friday.
The 15-year-old was taken to Ninewells after suffering a facial injury.
Officers are now looking for two people to come forward who may have witnessed the assault.
One man, wearing a white T-shirt, stopped his car at the junction of Deveron Terrace and Spey Drive but said he wasn’t from this area.
Another person, a woman with shoulder length bobbed, is also sought.
She handed the injured boy a £5 note that he had dropped in the street during the attack.
A spokesman for Police Scotland added: “If this was you, please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/28168/18 or speak to any police officers.
