Police have charged four men over alleged bogus workmen crimes in Dundee.
Officers arrested the men, aged 52, 31, 28 and 18, following alleged criminal activity in Beaumont Crescent, Strathdee Terrace and Pitlessie Gardens on Friday.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Brow said: “I would like to remind the public to be wary of anyone turning up at your home unannounced offering to carrying services or work.
“I would urge anyone who suspects a bogus workman to be operating in the area to call Police Scotland on 101.”
Meanwhile, a man has been charged with targeting a city centre shop over the weekend.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 33-year-old man has been charged after a break-in to Deichmann Shoes in Murraygate, Dundee on Saturday. A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and he was expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.”
