Biker who died in crash on edge of Dundee named

Police have named a motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision on Friday night.

The crash happened at about 3pm on the A930 Barry Road close to the junction with Station Road.

The man who died was Graeme Bell, 27, from Carnoustie.

He died after his motorcycle collided with a black Volkswagen Golf.

There are reports that the motorbike-enthusiast was returning to work at Cupar Motorcycles in Fife from his home when the accident occurred.

The police statement said: “Mr Bell came from the Carnoustie area, and our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

The accident closed the A930 for several hours on Friday.
