A beer festival helped raise a life-saving £15,000 for Broughty Ferry’s lifeboat crew.

The 18th annual Fisherman’s Beer festival, held over three days in July at the Fisherman’s Tavern in Fort Street, saw all proceeds going to its next door neighbours at the RNLI.

Festival sponsors Domino’s pizza helped bolster the total with a £1,000 donation of its own.

Broughty Ferry is Scotland’s busiest lifeboat station, and the money will go towards supporting crews on their many call-outs.
