A barber which has branches in Edinburgh has opened up new premises on Commercial Street.
Network Barber Club has moved into a former vintage clothing store near to the junction with the Seagate.
Owner James Johnstone revealed he has “transformed” the store since opening up the premises with his business partner, Jamie Stuart.
The 25-year-old said the appointment-only venue will also be selling clothing by local designers.
He said: “This is our first premises in Dundee.
“There are two premises in Edinburgh as well.
“We’ve had a great response from local businesses in the street since opening.
“The shop had been vacant for a few years now so they were delighted to see it up and running again.
“We got the keys on the 7th of this month so it has been a quick turnaround.”
He added: “Its a great location to have in Dundee, so close to the Overgate and the Wellgate centres.”
James revealed he was also looking at the potential of expanding in areas outwith the city.
He said: “We were fully booked when we opened our doors.
“We were also looking at Perth for another premises.”
