Police in north-east Fife are appealing for information after a series of housebreakings.
The break-ins happened in Wormit, Newport-on-Tay, Flisk, Balmerino, Kilmany and Fincraigs at the weekend.
Property with an estimated combined value of more than £15,000 was stolen, including Stihl saws, chainsaws, angle grinders, petrol cans and other tools and gardening equipment.
A quad bike and some of the power tools were recovered by officers on Monday as a result of patrols and police checks.
Officers are now keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious behaviour in these areas at the weekend.
Community Sergeant Sharon Holmes said: “We are following a positive line of inquiry involving a vehicle recovered that may have been used by the suspects.
“We would ask residents to be vigilant, check on outbuildings and neighbouring properties if vacant, and report any suspicious activity to the police.”
