A global leader in enterprise service management has opened a new research and development centre in Dundee.
Sixteen development staff have been employed by Cherwell Software at Dundee One, part of the Waterfront complex, with plans to grow the team in line with company expansion.
Cherwell has worked with thousands of organisations by automating services digitally, and the Dundee centre is the first international satellite to the company’s technology team, which is based in Colorado Springs in the United States.
A spokesman said: “It will be a focal point for future product innovation and enhancements to our enterprise software products, which are sold in 40 countries worldwide.
“The Scottish development team will report directly to Cherwell’s VP of Engineering, Josh Turpen, and also work closely with the company’s sales and marketing offices in Reading to offer enhanced support to their growing European customer base.”
