Paramedics were called to West Bell Street car park after a woman took a suspected overdose.
An ambulance was parked near Abertay University following the incident.
An eyewitness said the ambulance crew arrived at the scene just after 2pm yesterday before a female was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The latest case of a suspected overdose comes almost a year after another drug user was pictured partially-clothed in the car park.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1.48pm on Friday to attend an incident on Bell Street, Dundee.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and one female patient was transported to Ninewells Hospital.”
