Ambulance called to reports of man collapsing after Porsche crashes near Tay Road Bridge

Police attend to the accident on the A92 south of the Tay Road Bridge

An ambulance was called after reports that a man had collapsed after a Porsche crashed under a barrier near Tay Road Bridge.

The blue sports car ended up wedged on the A92 30 yards from the bridge in Fife at about 9.30am today.

The accident caused delays with all lanes restricted southbound for 30 minutes.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed the Scottish Ambulance Service had been called.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Ambulance Service said: “The police called us out at 9.34am and we got there at 9.44am.

“Initial reports were that a man had collapsed and passed out but on arrival he was actually okay.

“We treated him at the scene and did not need to take him to hospital.”
