A car has collided with a speed camera van on the A90 between Dundee and Perth.

Emergency services were called to the stretch near Glencarse just before 4pm today.

A police spokesman told the Tele that the car skidded into the hard shoulder and collided with the mobile speed camera van.

He said: “There has been nothing untoward, other than someone losing control of their vehicle and accidentally going into the speed camera van.

An ambulance was called to the scene as a precaution. The police staff in the van were “slightly shaken,” added the spokesman.
