A bed made from alpaca wool has gone on sale at a Dundee home store for £75,000.
Gillies in Broughty Ferry is displaying the Diamond Majesty bed until July 22.
Once its time in Dundee concludes, the bed will take a tour of Scotland and appear in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
It is being monitored by CCTV while on display.
The mattress is made from Vicuna wool – a type of alpaca – and is considered one of the rarest, finest fibres in the world.
Gillies has labelled it as “the world’s most luxurious bed”.
Bed and floor manager Don McBride said: “This bed has three rows of pocket-springing and upholstery such as horsetail.
“Probably not a lot of people have heard of Vicuna, but it’s a particular animal based in Peru and there’s a very limited cut of hair every year – and they export four tonnes of it.
“A pair of gloves made in Vicuna fabric can cost £1,000.”
