Dundee councillors are to be asked next week to approve spending more than £200,000 on a range of environmental improvements.
Work is to be carried out at Balgay totalling £137,500.
Elaine Zwirlein, director of neighbourhood services, said: “Work here includes the redesign and landscape improvements to include stabilisation of walls and installation of an overspill car park.
“There will also be improvements to steps and additional tree planting. Friends of Balgay have been consulted regarding this.”
Another £50,000 is to be spent carrying out improvements to seven playgrounds throughout the city.
Ms Zwirlein said: “Works mainly include resurfacing and installation of wood chips, along with enhancing some of the equipment.
“A further £29,500 is to be spent renewing fencing at Downfield Park and building a new gate.”
