Swindon are likely to have Zeki Fryers back in contention following injury for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Macclesfield.
However, midfielder Jordan Lyden is expected to be absent for two or three weeks due to a quad injury he picked up against Leyton Orient last time out.
The Robins will also continue to be without Michael Doughty as he serves the last of a three-match suspension
Doughty picked up a red card against Cheltenham on August 24 but will be available again after the weekend.
Recent signing Arthur Gnahoua could be pushing for a starting berth up front for Macclesfield.
Gnahoua came off the bench in last weekend’s draw against Crawley and in the midweek Carabao Cup clash with Grimsby and will be hoping for more chances to impress.
On-loan Nottingham Forest forward Virgil Gomis gives head coach Daryl McMahon another option in attack, having scored against Newcastle under-21s earlier this month.
Midfielder Jak McCourt is expected to remain sidelined, having not played since August 31 with an unspecified injury.
