Fylde confirmed their end-of-season play-off spot with a tense 1-0 win at home to 10-man Barnet.
The hosts scored the only goal midway through the first half through a tremendous 25-yard volley by Danny Rowe. Dan Bradley flicked on Tom Crawford’s lofted ball nicely to set up the division’s leading scorer.
Barnet’s day worsened before the break as Dan Sweeney took down Nick Haughton in a late challenge and was given a straight red card.
Darren Currie’s men refused to buckle and made the promotion chasers sweat in the second half with some stern defending, but could not break through at the other end.
