Alloa secured consecutive victories for only the second time this season as they boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 win at fellow strugglers Falkirk.
The win brings the Wasps level on points with Falkirk at the foot of the table and only a point adrift of Partick Thistle in the safety of eighth place.
Alloa went ahead in the 38th minute when the Bairns failed to clear a corner properly and the ball fell to Dario Zanatta and he rifled it low under the body of goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne.
But Falkirk were level moments after the restart as Deimantas Petravicius burst free down the left wing and crossed for Zak Rudden to sweep home.
Neil Parry then pulled off a fine save to deny Rudden a second five minutes later.
The Wasps secured victory four minutes from time when Jordan Kirkpatrick escaped behind the Falkirk defence and made no mistake in firing past Burgoyne.
