The Duke and Duchess of Sussex married after a whirlwind romance and their adoration for one another is clear to see.
From hand-holding on engagements to lingering looks of love, the royal pair have not shied away from public displays of affection.
Here’s a look at Harry and Meghan’s top 10 most romantic moments over the past year:
1. Harry whispering in Meghan’s ear
In January, Harry and the former Suits star spent an away day in Cardiff.
Harry was captured on camera whispering to his smiling bride-to-be as they watched a performance by a Welsh choir in the banqueting hall during a visit to Cardiff Castle.
2. Holding hands in Birmingham
While the royal family are often known for their reserve, Harry and Meghan have delivered their own take on joint appearances.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, and even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, usually separate on walkabouts, working different sections of the crowd.
But loved-up Harry and Meghan often stick together, holding hands as they meet the public.
3. A shared sense of fun
Harry and Meghan were pictured enjoying each other’s company when they attended a women’s empowerment reception during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Their wedding was exactly a month away and Meghan struggled to keep a straight face as Harry gave her a huge grin.
4. The look of love
As they attended a memorial service in April commemorating 25 years since the death of teenager Stephen Lawrence, Meghan gazed adoringly up at her future husband.
5. At the altar
It was an emotional Harry’s turn to gaze at his bride as they stood at the altar on their wedding day.
6. A wedding day kiss
The newlywed Duke and Duchess of Sussex kissed on the steps of the Gothic St George’s Chapel after their marriage ceremony but they also shared a tender kiss during their carriage ride through Windsor.
7. Affection at the polo
Two months later, Meghan watched her new husband compete in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club in Windsor in July.
The smitten couple kissed at the trophy presentation.
8. A hug on duty
Harry and Meghan laughed, joked, and warmly hugged each other as they visited Loughborough University for a competitive netball shootout at the Coach Core Awards in September.
9. On Bondi Beach
It may not have been a private visit to Bondi Beach in Sydney during their tour to Australia but at one stage Harry and pregnant Meghan only had eyes for each other.
10. A stroll in a century-old forest
The duke and duchess finished their 16-day overseas tour by emerging hand-in-hand from a forest of century-old redwoods in New Zealand.
