Another General Election clean sweep for SNP in Dundee

The SNP have triumphed across Dundee after retaining both seats in the General Election.

The Nationalists’ Stewart Hosie took home 18,391 votes, ahead of Tory Eleanor Price, who finished runner up with 11,766 votes. Labour’s Lesley Brennan was third with 11,176 votes.

In Dundee West, the SNP’s Chris Law was returned with 18,045 votes, with Alan Cowan, the Labour candidate, receiving 12,783. The Tories’ Darren Cormack’s total vote stood at 6,257.
