Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances following the discovery of a woman’s body in Dundee.
Forensics officers were on the scene today near to the Science Centre in Greenmarket, directly behind the Gulshan restaurant, following the discovery late last night.
Police said that the 34-year-old woman’s family have been informed of the tragedy and that inquiries into her death will continue.
Detective Inspector Paul Riley said: “Officers attended in the Nethergate, Dundee at around 10.55pm last night following a report of the sudden death of a 34-year-old woman. Her next of kin have been informed.
“Officers will be carrying out further enquiries, however there are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
