Investigations are continuing into the death of a woman found lying in the street of a busy residential area in Dundee’s city centre.
A huge police and ambulance presence was on the scene at Wishart Place, near the Olympia swimming pool, just before 10am yesterday to determine what had caused the incident.
The woman – who is understood to be aged 54 – has yet to be named by police.
Shocked residents could be seen being interviewed by officers as they came and went from the area.
In total, three police cars, two police vans and CID attended from the police as well as two ambulances and the Tayside Trauma Team.
Today a Police Scotland spokesman said: “A full investigation is still being carried out. We are following up on the incident this morning.”
