The Cask and Cork provides a weekly blend of entertainment, ranging from monthly tribute acts to their own DJ Rikki Harrison every Friday and Saturday.

With one of the finest selections of wines, spirits, lagers and ales in the whole of Tayside customers are spoiled for choice – and that’s before they look at the menu! There are also drinks offers, including house spirits from only £1.80 and draught lager from just £1.99.

The Cask and Cork is open until 2am on Friday and Saturday, so there’s no need to call time too early!


Have a cocktail (shaken or stirred) at Bruach

For those who enjoy a drink or two on their nights out, Bruach in Brought Ferry offers up an extensive cocktail menu and around 50 different gins from around the world – making it one of the best gin bars in Dundee!

Open until 1am on Fridays and and Saturdays, Bruach is perfect for a quiet catch up with friends over a meal and a couple of drinks, or for a special night out.

The staff at Bruach are what help create the vibrant atmosphere and they make sure that everyone who comes through the door enjoys their visit to Bruach.

The food menu (which covers brunch, lunch and dinner) has a strong focus on local and seasonal produce, as well as a full burger menu. And on Mondays, Bruach hosts Mussel Mondays, where customers can enjoy a selection of fresh mussels for just £10 per person.


Celebrate at Nicoll’s

Located in Dundee city centre, Nicoll’s bar and restaurant offers live music, entertainment and sports on top of quality food and drink.

The welcoming atmosphere is perfect for a night out with friends and family or to celebrate a special occasion. And Nicoll’s even has a stunning mezzanine which can be booked for large groups – retirement and work dos, hen parties or birthday celebrations.

Starting next weekend, there will be live music every Saturday, everything from modern hits to classics from the 60s and 70s.

And with great deals on their drink and food, a night out at Nicoll’s won’t burst the bank.

Clarks Bar(man)

Party until the wee hours at Clarks on Lindsay Street

The contemporary bar with traditional values, Clarks opened in the summer of 2011 and quickly established itself as one of the busiest spots on Dundee’s night-time scene.

With a comfortable and quirky feel, the bar buzzes with atmosphere, especially at weekends with live music and late nights being a great attraction. Open until 2.30am and with the best covers bands from this area and beyond helping to create a real party atmosphere, the bar is a popular choice for birthday parties, hen nights, etc.

Beyond Friday and Saturday the bar explores other musical niches and live sport is also popular for punters, with Sky and BT Sports featured and the renowned Matchday Deal offering local football fans a meal, three drinks and transport to Dens or Tannadice for only £15.


Hone your craft (beer) at Braes

Quirky and modern, Braes is a bar that puts craft lagers and cask beers and cocktails at the heart of what they do.

From Tuesday to Thursday every week, customers can enjoy special Craft and Cocktails nights, when select drinks are £3 each and cocktails pitchers are only £6.

Braes always has a range of four cask hand pulls and five craft lager lines, which constantly rotate. The beer and lager comes from all over the UK, and popular guest drinks include products by Eden Mill and Inveralmond Brewery.

Braes also does Tap Takeovers, where breweries from different regions can show their wares, most recently for St Patrick’s Day a host of Irish beers and lagers were on offer.

Braes is also there for a bite to eat (breakfast, lunch and dinner), offering an all-round night out experience.


Enjoy a dram at the Taybridge Bar

The Taybridge Bar is the heart of Dundee’s West End. The vibrant pub offers a wide selection of draught lagers, ales, stouts, world beers and ciders, as well as over 100 malt whiskies.

And if you are struggling to choose one, the manager has his own malt whisky bible and can help find the right drink for you.

But it’s the atmosphere that makes the Taybridge the place to go for a night out. There is a free jukebox for customers to play their favourites, and regular live entertainment, often featuring local talent.

During the week, the Taybridge Bar is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a drink, and at the weekends the energy rises and it’s party time!
