A man was left injured after he was struck by a car in Dundee last night.
The incident happened at the pedestrian crossing on Coupar Angus Road in Lochee.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 8pm.
The windscreen of the car involved was smashed in the collision and on of the wing mirrors was left hanging off.
No one has been arrested following the incident and the man is said to be in a stable condition.
The inside lane of the road was closed off by police while they investigated.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called to a one vehicle collision with a pedestrian, who had minor injuries.
“It was a male in his 40s and an ambulance was called.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received an emergency call just before 8pm for a male who was struck by a car. He was taken to Ninewells Hospital.”
