A TEENAGER has been left seriously injured after she was involved in a collision with a car on a busy Dundee road.
Police said the 15-year-old girl was struck by a car at Happyhillock Road at around 6pm yesterday.
Witnesses spoke of seeing police and ambulance crews at the scene of the incident.
Paramedics took the girl to Ninewells Hospital, where she remains today.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The incident happened at the junction of Happyhillock Road and Midmill Road in Dundee at about 6.10pm.
“A 15-year-old girl was taken to Ninewells Hospital where her injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
“Officers would appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact Tayside Division on 101.”
