A family-owned business is hosting a Santa’s Grotto complete with Rudolph, Prancer and Dancer – the piglets.
The Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort, near Broughty Ferry, will host its first ever festive meet and greet with Father Christmas along with the surprise guests.
Rudolph the piglet was aptly named after he bumped his nose against a red fence that was being painted next to his pen.
After this incident, Libby Forbes, of the resort, felt it was only fitting that he and his friends got the chance to be part of the upcoming Christmas festivities.
Libby says the pigs could cause ‘chaos’ – but will add to the fun.
She said: “It may be a twist on the traditional, but children love animals and our piglets are particularly cute and entertaining.
“There’s every chance it could be chaos, but I think that adds to the charm! The pigs are a big part of the resort and our family farm, Omachie, so it’s only fitting that they get to be part of some of the fun.”
The grotto will run for just three dates – on December 19, 20 and 24.
Entry to the Forbes of Kingennie Christmas Grotto is £5 and opening times are 10am-3pm.
