Here’s a round-up of how the Dundee and United loanees got on around the country this weekend.
Craig Wighton – Raith Rovers
The Scotland youth international lasted just 11 minutes on the park as Raith were beaten 2-1 by Hibernian.
A crunching challenge from Lewis Stevenson, just as Wighton got a shot away, resulted in the frontman clutching his knee.
News is awaited on the extent although there are fears it could be cruciate damage. If that’s the case the teenagers season could be over.
Andy Black – Forfar Athletic
Having been booked midfielder Black was withdrawn 64 minutes in to Forfar’s 4-0 defeat to Dunfermline at the weekend. He departed with the score at 2-0 to the Pars.
Matty Allan – Montrose
Injury is keeping teenager Allan out of the Montrose starting XI. He is yet to kick a ball since the club’s 1-0 win over Queen’s Park on October 3.
Cammy Kerr – Peterhead
Kerr was again present in the Blue Toon backline which conjured up a 2-0 win at home to Airdrieonians. Former Dundee man Leighton McIntosh came off the bench to grab the second.
Marc McCallum – Livingston
The Tangerines number three keeper got another 90 minutes under his belt at Livi.
He was between the sticks for their 4-1 win in Dumfries on Saturday, although he was beaten by former United youth teammate Dale Hilson on 27 minutes.
Scott Smith – Airdrieonians
Smith was absent from the matchday 18 beaten by Peterhead.
Robbie Muirhead – Partick Thistle
The attacker was introduced to the side in the 52nd minute of Thistle’s 1-1 home draw with Hamilton.
Picked up his first booking of the season in his seventh appearance but is still in search of his first goal.
Henri Anier – Hibernian
The Estonian international is yet to kick-start his season as a lack of fitness again kept him out of the matchday squad for Hibs’ 2-1 win at Raith.
