Dundee man, 42, charged following alleged recovery of heroin and cannabis

A 42-year-old man has been charged following the alleged recovery of class A and class B drugs in Dundee.

Officers swooped on an address in Balmoral Gardens in the Douglas area yesterday.

Heroin and cannabis with a total estimated illicit value of almost £9,000 was said to have been recovered and in addition £9,500 in cash was seized.

The man was expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
