
Emergency services were called to the scene of an overturned car on the A92, north of Montrose today.
The incident involved one man, driving a grey Skoda, and happened shortly before 6am, near Lochside.
The 29-year-old man received minor injuries and was treated on the scene but was not taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call of a car on its roof at 5.44am.
“We attended and checked over one male but did not require hospital treatment.
“He was badly shaken as a result of the incident.”
A spokesman for Police Scotland, Tayside Division, said: “There was a one-vehicle road traffic collision and a grey Skoda was on its roof in the middle of the road.
“A 29 year-old male received minor injuries but was allowed to leave the scene.”
The police spokesman also confirmed that the road had been partially closed in both directions while the car was removed, but was now fully open.
