One man has died and two others are missing after a small fishing boat overturned in the Firth of Forth.
Police said a man was recovered from the water near East Wemyss in Fife at 5pm yesterday but died in hospital a short time later.
The three men were reported missing after conditions worsened, with strengthening winds, while they were sailing.
A full-scale search was launched by UK Coastguard which included a rescue helicopter based at RAF Boulmer, RNLI lifeboats from Kinghorn and Anstruther, Coastguard rescue teams from Kinghorn, St Andrews and Leven and police officers.
Police have not yet named the men involved in the incident but said they were liaising closely with their families.
