A probe has been launched by police into the “unexplained” death of a man in Dundee.
A property in Gleneagles Street, Ardler, was cordoned off after the discovery of a 42-year-old man’s body this afternoon.
A Polices Scotland spokesman said: “The deceased was found at about 2.30pm and officers are treating his death as unexplained.
“The property has been cordoned off to allow an examination of the scene and inquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
“While the man is understood to be local, next of kin are in the process of being informed and his name will not be released until this has taken place.”
An officer in charge has been appointed to the investigation.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
