A Dundee bakery is celebrating today after scooping a prestigious award for their bridies.
Nicoll’s Rosebank Bakery, based in the Law area of the city, won the “Diamond Award for Bridie” at the 15th World Scotch Pie awards this afternoon.
While Nicoll’s sealed the title for their top class bridies, the winner of the headline award, World Scotch Pie Champion 2015, was Tayside rivals Murray’s Bakers in South Street, Perth.

HW Irvine, Blairgowrie – Bronze award for steak and gravy pie (steak hand-held category).
Murrays Bakers, Perth – World Champion Scotch Pie.
Nicolls Rosebank Bakery – Diamond award for mince bridie, Bronze award for apple pie.
Scott Brothers, Dundee – Bronze award for sausage roll.
Tower Bakery, Perth – Silver award for sausage roll, Bronze award for macaroni pie, Diamond award for apple pie, Silver award for macaroni cheese pie.
