A Dundee man has been accused of assaulting a woman and threatening to kill her.
Jason Evans, 28, of Lansdowne Court, appeared at the sheriff court.
He is accused that, at an address in Balmerino Road, on December 4, he assaulted a woman by punching and kicking her repeatedly on the head and body, brandishing scissors at her, putting his fingers in her eyes and attempting to gouge her eyes out, attempting to push a mobile phone down her throat and attempting to push a quilt down her throat, all to her injury.
He is further charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by threatening to kill her and take out her eyes with scissors, and threatening to have others assault her.
He is also charged with assaulting the woman at Balcairn Place, on December 5, by grabbing her by the hair, punching her on the face, knocking her to the ground and repeatedly punching and kicking her onthe head and body, all to her injury.
He is also charged with a further attack on December 6, at Balmerino Road, where he allegedly assaulted the woman and punched and kicked her repeatedly on the head and body, all to her injury.
It is alleged he committed the offences having been granted bail on December 2 under the conditions that he did not approach the woman nor enter Balmerino Road.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
The case was continued.
