Perth All Hallow’s Eve family fun parade

Volunteers are being sought to help with Perth’s first Halloween parade.

With the number of children taking part in traditional guising decreasing, Perth city centre is looking to bring families together for an All Hallow’s Eve Family Parade and Fun Event on October 31.

There will be games, competitions, entertainment, music, traditional carnival and lots of monsters and other fancy dress on show.

Some activities will start at 5pm and the main parade at 6pm.

Brownies, Guides, Cubs and Scout groups, as well as theatre groups, street performers and anyone else who has skills to share to help make this event a success are being called upon to get in touch now and offer their support.

Perth and Kinross Council is looking for people to take part in the parade, volunteer to man stalls, act as marshals and visitor guides, or put on street performances.

For more information on the Halloween parade, contact Michael Boyle, events officer, by emailing mjboyle@pkc.gov.uk or calling 01738 477952.
