Police investigation after Perth sexual assault

Police officers in Perth are looking for witnesses of a sexual assault in Perth city centre at the weekend.

The incident occurred at 12.40am on Sunday September 28 outside the Poundstretchers shop in Scott Street.

A woman was sexually assaulted by a man not known to her. He is described as 6’ tall in his 20s with short black curly hair, short full beard and wearing dark trousers, an open neck white shirt, and a dark blazer.

A police spokesperson said: “It is believed that the female made her way to the taxi rank in Mill Street where she was seen to be visibly distressed and offers were made by several members of the public to assist her.”
