A man has been trapped in his lorry after being involved in a three-vehicle accident on the A9.
The accident involved two lorries and a smaller van, and took place near Dunkeld Railway Station at around 7.30am.
There are not thought to be any serious injuries, but one lorry driver requires to be cut free from his vehicle.
One of the men, aged 65, is believed to have been taken to Ninewells for treatment.
The road was closed for some time to allow emergency services to deal with the incident, but the section of road has now re-opened.
A spokesman for Police Scotland, Tayside Division, said: “A collision has taken place between three vehicles.
“Two are heavy goods vehicles, and the other is a smaller, Fiat Doblo-type van.
“There doesn’t appear to be any serious injuries, but one lorry driver is trapped in his vehicle.
“Our priority is to get the road reopened as soon as possible.”
He explained that, because of the nature of the accident and the size of the vehicles, it could take a while for the road to be cleared.
