A 10-night overnight convoy system will start on the A90 between Dundee and Perth on Sunday.
Between 7.30pm and 6am each night – except Friday and Saturdays – resurfacing work worth 560,000 will be carried out between the Glendoick and Inchmichael flyovers.
A convoy system will be in operation with a 10mph speed limit to help keep workers and motorists safe during this time.
Commenting on the works, Andy Thompson, BEAR Scotland’s North East Unit Representative, said: “These works will repair a number of cracks, potholes and other defects and will improve the general condition of the road for motorists.
“In an attempt to minimise delays as much as possible for road users we have scheduled works to be carried out overnight. We still encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time.”
