A family fun day in Dunfermline aims to bring joy into the lives of seriously ill children.
The Fund-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes for children and young people who are terminally ill or suffering from life-limiting conditions.
Charity founder Cheryl Myles, who lives in the town, recently organised a fundraising sky dive to send two boys to meet Santa Claus in Lapland in December.
Other treats she has arranged include sending Minnie Mouse to a little girl’s birthday party and delivering a tablet computer to a boy to use in hospital during his treatment for leukaemia.
The fun day will be held in Pittencrieff Park on Saturday from noon until 5pm. Stalls will include funfair rides, a mini talent contest and live music, while there will also be a raffle and a disco.
